I plan on purging quilt books and fabric that I no longer love....both are taking up too much space I also plan on using up the majority of my low volume prints so I can finally buy some new ones.

Want to get my 2 1/2" squares quilt FMQed. It is kind of large so will be a challenge.

I’d like to finish my 2018 Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt, Good Fortune and at least get the 2019 Frolic top pieced. I also want to get something made for my brothers new granddaughter and at least one quilt done for a friend’s birthday. And then we shall see what happens...

I began quilting in June and finished a disappearing 9 Lap quilt and a Christmas quilt that I did in class. My goals for 2020 are:
    1. Finish the Binding Tool quilt I was working on before the holidays.
    2. Decide on the quilt for my grandson to put away for his graduation and do that.
    3. Continue reading, watching videos, taking classes and learning from experienced quilters everywhere and on this forum.
    4. Learn Quilting Terms: UFO (I think that has something to do with unfinished but the O?), Kitting, FMQed, etc. ??
    5. Organize the closets. My sewing room has two small closets with a hanging rod and one shelf above it. I want to organize and decide what to put in there to keep things organized.

Reader1, UFO= Unfinished Object; kitting is putting fabric & pattern together ready to sew a quilt; & FMQ=free motion quilting. Some of these are also in knitting & crocheting. Some more are PhD=project half done; PIGS=project in grocery sacks; & WOW=white on white fabric. These are the extras that came to mind right now.

Wow, so many interesting goals already listed.

My main goal is to complete a quilt I designed and began way back in 1985. The blocks are almost half done. I wasn't as aware of fabric quality back then, so I need to go back and change out the cheap poly blend fabric of the appliqued crescent moons to something more in keeping with the quality fabric in the background and pieced sections.

My second goal is about a kit I bought at a yard sale a few years back. It's just all the precut pieces in a large fabric envelope, no instructions, photo of the quilt or even a name to go by. One of these days I'll post a photo of the kit to see if anyone recognizes it.

If I'm being honest and realistic with myself (not a bad goal in itself!) my goals are:
    1) Sew some each day - no matter how little or how much -keep on keeping on is best to keep me grounded and keep things moving. NO GUILT on how much gets done.
    2) Prioritize UFO's over new projects. You kind of forget how to do a thing if you leave it for years. I had to re-learn how I made my log cabin sampler...and my measurements are different because I *assumed* I knew they had to be a scant 1/4" seam.
    3) If I'm at a total loss, grab a tote that has a set of fabrics (I tend to buy several coordinated pieces and 'hold them' for a future project) and plan out a quilt for that set. Measure and label what is in there.

My goal is to finish more quilts than I start! I have a mid-arm to work on the quilting, but I can't bring that along to small group meetings or to retreats. So when I'm at home, I really need to focus on quilting rather than piecing.

Here's what I'd (ideally!) would like to accomplish, or at least work on.
    1. Finish some of my old WIP's. I've made a list of about 10 quilts that I'd like to finish or at least make progress on.
    2. Clean out the drawers of my sewing cabinet. They are completely unusable now because they have so much old miscellaneous stuff in them that I never use.
    3. Clean off the table in my sewing room.
    4. Make my sewing room "visitor ready." I'd love to have friends up there, but am not sure what their reaction would be.
    5. Make a few smaller projects not yet started, bags, table toppers small wall quilts.
