    I scan my blocks and then put them into my Print Artist program. I can turn and move the blocks and create the the way the entire quilt will look.

    Design wall and camera. With my camera I take pictures as the quilt is being made and then done. I have a folder in my computer for each quilt I made. It is nice to look back. Design wall is also great because you can leave it up and come back to it and 99% of the time I make a change, something I didn't see before. Great tool

    This may be super obvious..but just in case...an inexpensive "design wall" is a plastic tablecloth with soft fabric backing. Hang the tablecloth ..plastic side to the wall...and your fabric will stick to the fuzzy side... ;-)

    I have on Also and his name is Kittycat. He either is on the ironing board or on my chair. I put another chair in here sometimes for him.
