Blue and yellow, purple and green and rust and teal - in that order.

I think I like muddied colors, and I buy them, but somehow they never make it into my quilts! I always choose clear colors! I like lots of variations of each color in my quilts, no two or three fabric projects for me. I love the pastel 30's look, and especially like butter yellows and mint greens. I also like the Civil War reproductions, just for the historical value and insight. The only color I have and use little of is orange. (gag me!) Sometimes I like monochromatic quilts, and find they look really nice if you use every possible variation of that color. For example, if you make a "purple" quilt, use pinkish purples, reddish purples, almost black purples, purples which are muddy, lavenders so light they are almost white, bluish purples, just anything which is even just a little bit "purple". The resultant quilt really sparkles, even though it's all one "color".

I have not used Batiks and I am all ready tired of them. Mostly I like traditional patterns. Maybe when or if I complete all that I want to do; I can branch out.

I am not overly religious but when I look out my window I see that GOD chose green as a background color. That is good enough for me.

I love tropical colors, especially lime green and aqua.

Give me earth tones and traditional quilts any day. I'm not too crazy about batiks either.

Too many to list! Depends on the type of quilt and pattern also.
