M and L in Anaheim, CA, and Jenny's in Fountain Valley, CA. Both have a great variety of fabrics.

High Prairie Quilts in Parker, CO. The owner is fantastic and all the workers are amazing. I especially love how many wide backs they have.

All of them. I am a batik lover so they have to have a lot of them. My current favorite is Quilters Studio in Loveland, OH. They have a lot of batiks and Kaffee Fasset. My other favorite closed and she plans to reopen. Aunt Ruths that was in Sharonville, OH. She is running it out of her basement right now. Looking for a better location to re-open. I live just north of Cincinnati and we are blessed with quite a few quilt shops pretty close by. Also JoAnns and Hancocks.

I want to go to them all! I live in Guelph so I go to the Lens here. Sometimes Cambridge Lens but I find the basement where the fabric is kept is dark.

Never entered a quilt shop I didn't like. I give 90% of my quilts away so I am careful about buying on sale.

Whenever we travel I always seek out the local quilt shops and usually find some "souvenirs" from the trip. I only buy quality fabric so for the most part the chain stores are not in my radar since their fabric is not something I would consider quality even though they are touting it as quilt fabric. Quilt stores often focus on certain kinds of fabric so I have my favorite store for batiks, favorite for reproduction, favorite for best sale room etc. Country Stitches in Lansing MI is a destination store and Yoders in Shipshiwana IN are jaw dropping for their selections and I make it a point to go there when I'm in the area. Suwannee Valley Quilt Shop in Trenton FL is a destination shop as well.

Tildiemay has already mentioned one of my favorites...Crafty Corner Quilt and Sewing Shoppe in Worthington, MN. I also like Prairie Quilting in Windom, MN and the Old Alley Quilt Shop in Sherburn, MN. Two of my favorite shops when I go to Montana are Quilting In The Country, Bozeman, MT (located outside Bozeman on an acreage) and Quilts On Broadway in Belgrade, MT.
