Here where I live I seem to gravitate to the two farthest away but have great fabric and even better staff. My favorite is Bella's Fabric in Carrolton, VA; I've even bought 3 Vikings from them. I also love to go to (but not as often do to distance) is Love to Sew in Williamsurg, VA, close to Busch Gardens
When I visit my sister in Buchannon WV, they have a quilt shop that I love. It's really small but packed full of things. I can't remember the name but since it's the only one its easy to find.

Online I always go to "The Old Country Store" first - their service is incredibly fast and friendly! In person, two quilt shops in Franklin, NC would be hard to beat - "A Stitch in Time" and "Deb's Cats 'n Quilts". Both are warm and inviting and always willing to help. They both also have great classes - could spend a fortune just taking the classes :-)

At home it is Fabric Depot in Portland Oregon and online it is whichever one has the fabric I am ISO. It seems I am always looking for just a little bit more of _______. I tell my friends that fabric shopping online is my porn! They look sort of startled and then break out in a big grin and laugh!

Thankfully whenever we travel my DH is willing to search out the LQ shops along the way, what fun! So far my top two favorites are Asheville Cotton Co in NC and Tennessee Quilts in Jonesborough, TN

My favorite quilt shop would be Nancy's Quilt Shop in Winter Garden, Florida. They have the most gorgeous fabrics, in the most luscious colors!! It's a friendly shop with a lot of knowledgable clerks who are very helpful. My friends all love it there, when they're in town!!

The wonderful ladies at the Sewing Diva taught me how to quilt 3 years ago...and i'm hooked!!! They also highly recommended Bittersweet Fabrics for my sewing machines... I bought a Janome Magnolia from Dave when I first started.. And just last week I picked up the Horizon

My two favorite shops for buying quilt fabric online are EQuilter.com in Boulder, CO and Fabric Depot.com in Oregon.
In the past I also bought from Virginia Quilter , and a shop that I think closed as I could not find it online. I like to buy where they have international USPS or airmail shipping.
