There are so many notions, I can't think of the best ones or ones I need right now. I do love my seam gauge and couldn't live without one, but I have about 10, sooooooooo.

My new favorite notion is the Fons & Porter Luma Threader Lighted Needle Threader. I can thread my sewing machine needle without my glasses!!!! And I am a big fan of the Clover Desk Needle Threader and I love my Combicut Seam Ripper & Tweezers.
