Designing a quilt, to include picking out colors and fabric is my favorite part. It always sparks ideas for more...so many more that I can never make them all, but I'll give it a try

I love piecing -- especially chain piecing, which I do on my featherweight. I don't enjoy the quilting part because it's difficult on my DSM, and I haven't found a QAYG method that gives me the results I want. I do like binding because that means it's almost finished!

I make more tops than complete quilts, although I enjoy quilting. My problem area is deciding on a quilt pattern.

I also love hand binding. It is the most relaxing part.

I enjoy the whole process but the layering, can't stand that part.

I think I enjoy all aspects of the quilting process except knowing what to do with the scraps. I have a large container of scraps from various projects. I do have them separated by color in plastic bags. I might add that I really like to bind a quilt.

I love it all, but I think that rummaging through my stash and putting together fabrics for a new project might be the most fun for me. Just love to play with color. If I had to pick my worst thing, it would be marking quilting lines. I go a long way to try and avoid doing that. I like to cut, I like to sandwich, and I like to bind!

I love the creating part of choosing what fabrics and then seeing the piecing come together. I am lucky to have others do the quilting and the binding.
