I like to challenge myself by making a more difficult pattern. Currently I'm working on a Double Wedding Ring quilt. It's slow progress but I love it. I'm thinking about entering it in the Pine Tree Quilt Guild show but not sure I'll be able to finish it by then. I've got a week to make up my mind to enter or wait until next year.

I really like the beginning (the cutting out stage).........and the finishing stage (binding). I tolerate the inbetween stages, oh wait, no, I also like the piecing, and the quilting. I guess I like all of the stages.

Taking all my stash, and re-arranging it -- usually on the bed, or the floor, but in any case, all around me -- and putting together color combinations that please me. I do this again and again, several times a year. Of course, I do not have the insanely HUGE stash that so many of YOU do. ;-)
