I make no to effort to conceal I am a piecier. The thought of shoving and wrestling a larger quilt through my regular machine just makes me cringe. My whole quilting world changed when I discovered long arm professionals.

I love all parts of the process, from idea, picking fabrics, cutting, piecing, to quilting. Not to much of a fan of binding but I would have to say the part I love the very mostest is giving the quilt that I created to someone who loves it!

My heart is with the designing aspect of a quilt. I love it when I see a pattern and the brain snaps awake remembering that the perfect fabric is waiting at home in my stash !! I sometimes get bored during the piecing if I take too much time to finish. Then I feel the pressure to get the top piece since I don't want any more UFOs hanging in my closet!!

I like the design process the best. I love sitting there with my graph paper and/or EQ, playing with possibilities. I also love the hunt for the "perfect" fabric for something once I've finally settled on a design. Also piecing, and even cutting is very satisfying.
Pretty much I like everything except basting and binding, and it's not like I hate those steps. They're just my least favorite!

After all the planning and all the stitching etc., I think seeing the final product. Its seeing all your hard work and efforts in being creative for hours and hours. Seeing someone happy with your time and talent.
