What is your favorite pattern?

I love sunbonnet sue and have done her a lot. Have a Q underway where I have put her in a number of atypical situations. Put her in a AF uniform as DD went into service. Put her in a garden watering plants, etc. You can do a lot with placing her arm differently and sticking a watering can in it etc.

[quote=Afton]Hi!
I love making dresden plates, I try to work one into every project.
I made my first dresden plate block last Christmas, and it was a big hit with my friends. I think I need to make more for Christmas wall hangings. Thanks for the reminder!
Do you have pictures of your dresden plate quilts?

After reading through the post's I've come to the conclusion that I'm a basic quilter. I love the Log Cabin but haven't made one for myself, humph. Like to do the D4P and D9P because of the surprise you end up with. But I've made a lot of Pinwheel's so I'm going to say the "Pinwheel" is my favorite

Anything that I can turn into a quilt-as-you-go. I am learning FMQ and find it easier to quilt smaller pieces then put them together. I have a large throat sewing machine but quilting a large quilt is just too difficult for me.
