I like the Bow Tucks Tote but my absolute favorite are the lazy girl designs

When I first heard someone say it I thought they said Botox, which would be a weird name for a purse. I finally got it when I saw the pattern and could see it spelled out.

I don't have a favorite. Most I have just designed myself as I go along. I really like them all and find that making them is very addictive. I have a very long list of free patterns to try out also. If I really get a fire under me I may make a lot of them to sell at our community fall festival which is held in the park right behind my house every October. I wish I could discipline myself to make one a day every day between now and then. So far I've sold a few but most I have given to relatives and friends for birthdays, etc.

The more I make the better I like them... I've started just making them up as I go!! I like the plain simple tote I've been making and then embellish it as I go.

I found a fun, free pattern on allpeoplequilt called "Paisley & Patchwork Bag". I've made three so far and have tweaked it a bit as I've gotten comfortable with the pattern. My mom got the first as they are made from her stash of drapery and upholstery swatches. Then I made one for myself. Now I am making them for 5 friends who all have birthdays from the end of September to the end of October. I found a free pattern for a purse organizer so if I have time before the birthdays, I hope to make those for in the bags.

Hmm a good idea for all those fabric samples I got free at a garage sale last weekend! I have to look this one up!

My favorite tote pattern by far (I've made four of them) is the Professional Tote by the Creative Thimble. I love it.
