Allourquilts.com is another quilt board similar to this one only much smaller. Great ladies on there though and we do block swaps and fabric swaps. I also like quiltville.

I like About.com/quilting for really good instructions on blocks, plus some very original patterns. She gives them for free, and hosts a gallery where you can send in your pictures. I tell all my quilting newbie friends to go there for instructions and tutorials...she is great!!

the board is really the only one I go to, because there are so many wonderful people on here, and all are very help full. I am a new quilter and in a bad place in my life, and a lot of wonderful people have stepped forward and gone the extra mile to help me out, there are ladies on her who have sent me fabric, books, magazines, thread, a bag of batting, and even ink for my printer. all so I could learn to quilt, some have come forward in spiritual support, when I could not handle the pain any more physical or mentally. they have reached out to me when I could only see one way out. there I said it out loud sorta. you can visit any site, but this one is a home, were people care. I hope I don't upset anyone with what I wrote. Penny
