Definitely the glue binding method! I LOVE IT!

But, I have a list a mile long of things I have learned or want to try.

starching. basically soaking the fabric then letting it dry completely then ironing it out flat. I it has helped me a ton with making wonderful blocks.

Please don't laugh, but the lady you said to take a slug of pickle juice to get rid of leg craps has to be a Quilters Angel. It has allowed me to triple my time at the sewing machine. God bless her.

I learned on here that if you want to do something go for it even if you think you are inexperianced. My second quilt was a 60x80 quilt made from 4" denim squares cut out from old jeans. Only had done a very simple flannel baby quilt for my God son before that. Don't think many people would pick a denim quilt as the second quilt to make. Not exactly the easiest thing I've worked on, espessily in the middle of May with no air conditioning and quilting it on a tiny home version Singer. I got so frustrated when I tried sandwiching it together for the first time that I nearly threw it in the trash, swearing the whole time, and Mom had to talk me out of it. But it turned out real nice. Plan on some other quilts and wall hangings that are probably outside my experiance, but want to do. I haven't finished a quilt since the denim one (which I'm embarassed to admit) so I'm definatly inexperianced, but if I keep reminding myself of that fact when I come up with something I want to do (particulary when its huge or complicated, which I seem to be good at coming up with) then I'll never get another quilt done.

Also, never be afraid to ask anything on here. I'm making a t-shirt quilt for my boyfriend after years of not finishing a quilt and I found that I forgot about some things like batting choices and binding. And I felt so incredibly stupid about forgetting and having to ask. But there's not a single quilter here who will make you feel like you're stupid and the question you asked was dumb. I like being able to ask things without the fear of being called a complete inexperianced quilting moron because nobody here will see you as such.

Tutorials would have to be my favorite thing. Although I haven't been a member for very long, I have read every tutorial and they all make perfect sense. I am a much better learner this way as opposed to classes.

All the tutorials are great. But the greatest words of wisdom were "slow down".

Things I've learned on this site:
    1. Vera Bradley is not the only one who can make a quilted bag. I'm pretty obsessed with that now and have a growing collection - a bag for every season, every occasion.
    2. You can never have too much fabric. And it looks so pretty folded and stacked up with all the blues together and all the greens together....
    3. I learned that I can spend half the day on this site -- the whole day if I follow every link and every link's link.
    4. Ditter is a funny woman. Be sure to read the jokes she posts.
    5. There is so much talent in this world!!

There are way to many to name. I think I have learned more since Aug from this board than I have in the last couple of years.
