Well, somewhere I have a picture of the top all finished...it's been just a top for about a year now!

I called this the "ugly quilt" for quite awhile but it grew on me over time.
Yes, with maybe just a touch more yellow in it. I'm thinking of the colors of a boy scout uniform. I think it looks great in a modern quilt, paired up with colors such as tomato, yellow, deep blue, aqua. Yours is very pretty.

(I must have been in "puppy love" with a boy scout in my youth...LOL.)

I have never liked orange. A friend bought me some precuts in orange because she said that sometimes you just need to add a bit and she knew I would not want to buy orange fabric. Sure enough, I was making a baby quilt for family and the fabric they wanted was a fish fabric. It was lots of blues and the fish had orange in them. When I was planning the layout, I realized I needed to add orange to the blocks! It turned out to be one of my favorite baby quilts. He just turned one and carries it with him everywhere!

It might be outside your comfort zone, but it's beautiful, I especially like your purple/blue batik print.

I never used to like bolder colors like lime green, bright purple, or orange. But since I have begun quilting, they always add some pop to a quilt. Especially if they are scrappy ones. Am working on one now that seems to be getting a lot of those colors in it.

For ME (this is just my PERSONAL taste) it would have to be brown
    and olive/drab greens.

Now don't go throwing a rotten tomato at me. But brown is my #1
worst color, it is the one color that I truly dread using for ANYTHING.
As for the olive/drab green I really only use that color for something
I might make for my hubs.

In fact I don't own any clothing that is brown.

But give me ANY color besides those two and I will more than likely
    love using them.

Lime green is not my favorite shade of green, but for this quilt, it was the best choice. My favorite color is what I call ice green. I have never found it or the blackberry shade I have sought for years.
