The actual quilting is my least favorite. I love the planning, cutting, seeing the pieces come together....but the quilting is hard. Oh, and I like the binding because that means I'm almost done! Just the label is left to do.

I don't like sewing the squares together. I have yet to hand quilt my projects because I balk at basting the layers together. One of these days .....

Binding has to be my least favorite. When I finish the hand quilting, I always feel like I'm done, but then that binding hangs over my head.

I'm with you - and I have even offered a quilter friend of mine to swap chores - since she hates doing the binding I offered to bind for her if she would cut for me - so far I haven't heard from her as to whether she wants to.

I do not like the sandwiching and quilting - probably because I'm not good at it. I love piecing the top. - Cynthia

I hate piecing. I always end up with something not straight or the points just won't match etc. Give me a wholecloth or cheaters cloth quilt to handquilt anyday.

Oh, I do agree. Love cutting, piecing, quilting... can even do the binding - by machine of course
