    I am quilting my first quilt and so far my least favorite part was clipping the loose threads on the back of the quilt top before sandwiching. It seemed to go on forever.

    I don't like to do bindings ... I want to finish, but I just don't like binding! I used to trade that for cutting with a friend, but she moved to FLA and that was the end of that ... :(

    Go get the Angler or that other tool (can't think of the name right now) that guides you to sew HST etc. You won't need to mark a line again !! :)

    Shortness is always a drawback, isn't it? I'm short too and it's all about reaching stuff on my tippy toes! I can't say what my least favorite part is because I haven't finished a quilt yet. I made 2 pot holders and 1 mug rug and the binding on the mug rug was perfect if I do say so myself!
    I also am short and stretching to smooth out the wrinkles and pin is very stressing on my back. I have solved that by pretty much doing QAYG on the larger pieces.

    It's a toss up between ironing the finished top and binding. I have finally had to stop hand sewing my binding on anything larger than a table topper. Arthritis just acts up too much. I do have a BIG ironing board, but it is still a hassle for big tops, especially if there are a lot of seams.

    For me it is sandwiching and quilting. I want a mid arm so badly I can taste it, but it's just not in the budget right now.
