I like American Patchwork and Quilting. I'd say I'm an intermediate quilter, and this magazine seems to have more things in it I'm capable of doing, without leaving out the beginner and the more advanced quilter as well.

    Quiltmaker...

But I no longer take any magazines. Too much info for free on line. I sure do LOVE to look at them though.

I don't subscribe to a particular magazine, but I only buy the ones that have at least 3-4 things in it I would be interested in making. That way the cost of the magazine is like buying one pattern and getting 2-3 free.

I subscribe to Fons & Porter and McCall's Quilting. I like both and they seem to have a good mix of patterns for beginner, intermediate and advanced.

I like Quick Quilts and McCall's Quilting and Quiltmaker. Have subscriptions to a couple of those. Then I pick up others when I browse through them and they appeal to me but now I steer away from the ones that are sealed in a bag. More often than not, I have been disappointed once opened.

I totally agree. Way too many ads, and that clothing booklet in Fons and Porter put it on the DNR list. :-)

Some of the subscriptions I have are:

    Quilter's World
    F&P Easy Quilts
    Quilters Newsletter
    McCall's Quick Quilts

For the life of me I can not remember them all (I am not at home to look).

However I make sure that I keep BOTH online and print subscriptions to Quilter's World going.
I like the magazines over books. I feel like the mags give me current info, where as a book gives usually a techinque. I agree with Quilty-Louise

My favorite quilting magazine is QUILT. I love it because it has the old patterns in it and I like the old timey quilts better than the fancy ones.

Quilters World and Quiltmaker are my favorites--I don't care for Fons and Porter's.
