Impatience--and that leads to me getting bored with a project and setting it aside to work on something else for a while----which is ok with me, but it also means that I sometimes have so much stuff out in the sewing room that I can't find anything!

my biggest dilemma is trying to find more time to quilt...I get up about 5 am and try to squeeze some sewing in before I go to work. I'm too young to retire. : (
I'm in the same boat as Rob, there are so many projects that I'd love to do but trying to keep my WIPs under control so not to have a bunch of UFOs.

I don't seem to see what color fights with another one. I've missssplaced my color wheel and that means I have to go through all m shelves to find it. Huge spring cleaning undertaking.
I might as well move a garbage can into the office and start.

Time is my dilemma. I have a real tendency to be a perfectionist and many things take longer than they should. I really love the process and most often I can spot problems before I make mistakes of significant size. I am careful about cutting and use one philosophy about rulers-where do I consistently place the measuring line in reference to the edge of the fabric. I use lots of paper labels pinned to pieces to keep the process correct-works well for me.

I agree with tallchick, wish the manuals were actually in the box. I recently bought a new printer, I am keeping the old one because it had new ink in it, (100$). I will use it to print booklets for my premier ultra embroidery program. Then I will get rid of it!!! Another delimma is when your mind knows what that perfect piece of fabric looks like for your next quilt, but you can't find it!

My most recent problem was squaring and trimming a quilt. After getting it back from the LAQ, the corners were pulled and the edges were very wavy. I stretched, pulled, pinned, steamed and ironed to straighten before trimming. It is much better now, but a long time spent doing this. Does anyone else have this problem, and what do you do to solve it?
