My quilting essentials have changed over the years. Now I want my Go and dies, a sharp seam ripper, .4m glass head pins, Pinmoors, Wonder Clips, and specialty scissors like batting scissors, rag snip scissors, serrated scissors. And most important a sewing machine that gives me no frustration at all. I won't waste time on a machine that gives me problems.

I would make sure that I get a good seem ripper- I love my Clover one and everything listed above.

My essentials are my hopping foot for my Bernina and my walking foot for my Singer. I will not hand quilt, but I love to press the pedal to the floor and make my sewing machine zoom zoom.
