You can always use some of it to line a tote or bag. Or maybe use some for the backs of small projects like a table runner.

My quilt guild had a challenge with ugly fabric. They brought in ugly fabric panels and challenged everyone to make a quilt with it. It was a good exercise and the quilts turned out really cute. Maybe you could hang on to it and in the future it might be "in" again.
