    Actually, I find it quite pleasant. I have a stressful job, and it helps that I can come home and spend an hour at the quilt frame. I can plan the next project, day dream or listen to music or books on tape. And the final results are usually worth it.

    I'm weird also. I took it into stressful situations. So calming. I'm already planning my next hand quilting project. Hand quilting is my best stress reliever!

    I'm with you! For me it's a break after a day with the kiddos and housework.

    I have to say, though, I'm amazed/impressed by the people who can quilt 4-6 hours a day for months/years on end! I'd love to see *those* quilts! :)
