We bought my grandson a slingshot to use when he visits us at the Lake. I kept finding all the stuff scattered over the house after he goes home, so I made him a personalized bag to keep it all together.

Never saw one. Wish I had. Child was a gyser :) could you explain the sprinkler cover? Wish my friend Helen was alive to read this:) she would have appreciated it -- 2 sons!
Little fabric cones, to pop over the little one's private part that likes to sprinkle when nappy is being changed. I hav not tried them but wish they had been around when my boy's were little lol

I made a grass catcher for a lawn sweeper. A car seat cover without a pattern. Theater costumes. Oilcloth drawstring duffel bags for parachutes. I'm sure I'll think of many more!

    What was the occasion please?
We, as homeschoolers, had a class on China a few years ago. The dragon was made to entertain the smaller children during a Chinese New Year party.
Very creative. Nicely made. Did you enjoy homeschooling? I bet the children did!
We certainly did enjoy homeschooling! The kids especially liked not having to get up at "O dark 30" in order to catch the bus. It's been a great ride. I only have one child left at home who will spend her senior year at the local high school - sniff, sniff. The younger years were more interesting to teach because it was more hands on for me and we did lots of projects together. As they got older, they worked more and more independently and didn't need my help. The oldest was graduated from college a couple of weeks ago. Whoo-hoo! Still have two in college. Did you homeschool? I highly recommend it. It's not for everyone, but if it's possible, the blessings are insurmountable.

I mad a boot to cover my friens leg.
He was in a racing accident and has his leg
about ripped off. He had a halo with 13 wires and pins
to stretch the bone in his leg took 2years to do.
No clothing would fit over this so I mad a flannel
lined - quilted outside to cover his foot and lower leg

I made a small insulated hip pouch for a friend's diabetic daughter to keep her insulen cold during workouts and running. Kept it cool for up to 4 hours with a crystal you soak for 1/2 hour in cool water before using. On the same concept as a cool scraf. Did several different fabrics till we got the right combination without adding too much weight.

My DH just reminded me of the forklift seat covers I made for his work. The vinyl would get really hot on some days and eventually would crack. Made him some quilted slip covers that he loved.
