    With the price of gas raising everyday....there is nothing going to be cheaper for a long time. Transportation costs are added to everything. Until, our government allows us to drill for oil here (which we have an abundance of) it will just keep getting worse. So don't hold your breath!

    Thank you for the link. It forces us to see beyond the tips of our noses and to realize that the price increases are not solely the fault of the stores alone - I understand the process better now - don't like it, but understand it.

    Fabric's going up, food's going up, ditto utilities, gasoline, etc. Someone forgot to put the paycheck in this equation! Those of us trying to survive on Social Security alone are in a real bind - more than ever!

    Sorry, I'll step down now.
