    It seems every PO has diff info about rules for mailing a pkg.I happened to be in 3 of them in last 10 days & all told me diff about weight etc of a pre paid envelope.One said anything you can get in it & close the envelope will be fine. Another said the envelope has to be perfectly flat.

    Don't remember about other one.One clerk said he weighs them & charges extra if too heavy?
    I'd like to see a retailer adv all over the country about a certain item, then let clerks charge whatever they like.Makes no sense at all. :( :(JMO

    I agree with you. They adv this and that, but when yu get there its another story.

    That would be incredibly frustrating. Post offices SHOULD be consistent.

    Our PO let's it go for flat rate as long as it is closed. I send books a lot to grand children and tape them shut. They're fine with it. YOu know which one to use, of course!!!

    Lucky you.Today,DH took my pre paid envelope in nearest PO to send & get a tracking number.Clerk said TN will be 74c.Last wk, the TN for same pkg/same addy was 80c.Maybe he was having a better day :)
