Silver Needle

What is an unused BSR worth that is for a Bernina 640? I have a longarm and foolishly bought this when I got the ?640 and have never used it. I can't find any information regarding used price.

check with the bernina dealer= often they have used machines & assessories- people trade in when they upgrade- if it's never been used you may be able to sell it to them- return it- or trade it for something you do need...or you may at least be able to find out what they are selling for.

I don't know about the B640 but the BSR for my 440 added $1000 to the purchase price.

Tartan, didn't your 440 come with a BSR? It should have or at least BoA sells them together. But you are right that they normally retail for almost $1000. Sales are coming up for the holidays. Silver Needle, if you can get $500 for it, I would take it.

I did get the BSR with my 440 but if you were to purchase it separately both the BSR and the Embroidery cost $1000.

I see them used(maybe new but second hand and not from a dealer) all the time selling for $400-$500.
