    No steam unless sewing somewhere else and steam is on. Actually no water in my iron just in a spray bottle for stubborn wrinkles. I do however use Best Press when I iron initially so that is still there.

    I'm a steamer, and now kind of sorry. I covered my ironing surface, stupidly, with some fabric, that I assumed was prewashed. I steamed a seam, and the color from the fabric I used, transferred to the white of the block.
    I went and bought some of those 'color catchers,' we'll see if they work.
    Regardless, lesson learned
