Batiks, batiks and batiks and 1930's repros and brights with black as a background color to really make the color pop..Oh, did I mentions batiks? I really love them. I have lots of blues and green and purple fabrics in my stash. It's my favorite color combination.

Roses, jewel tones, and blenders for me--anything in the red/pink family--no orange!

This is so great! Some people love what others won't go near, lol. I love orange and yellow in a quilt, they are such popping colors. I wish I could wear them but I don't think anyone is really supposed to.

Anyone looking at my stash would say I must have multiple personality disorder or at least attention deficit disorder, but I enjoy drifting this way and that from one project to another. I prefer small projects like table toppers and baby quilts because I'm more likely to stick with it and get it done before the next "sparkly" draws me in some other direction.

In contrast to my quilting inclinations, the house looks traditional/conventional, and once I arrange and decorate a room it's likely to stay that way for years. I suspect it's a subconscious attempt to make the place seem as though the people who live here are reasonably stable - but don't go near that sewing room, or the truth will be revealed!

I sometimes find myself drawn to themes, puppies, Halloween and the like. I like quiet muted colors on some days, but then on others, I like vibrant ones. I have always loved blue, but in the last few years, I have fallen in loves with Earth tones. Green and brown.

Most of my quilts are lap sized, or little cute wall hangings. I have made 3 queen sized tops but not one of them is finished.

I love everything, vintage fabric's, 30's reproductions, brights, geometrics, orientals, African prints, florals, civil war, etc etc etc. My stash is very diverse as a result. I guess that's how I am, I have a insatiable curiosity about the world, I love to learn about different cultures. I am a child of the universe lol

I like bright colors that pop. I like soft pastels. I like country reds, blues, greens and tans. I'm not so nuts about batiks, oriental themes, novelties or large prints.

My preferences are soilds, blenders, tone-on-tones, monochromatic batiks, mostly in saturated colors, nothing wishy-washy. Sounds pretty boring when seen written out like that, but I want the quilt design as a whole to be the star, not any particular fabric within it. Fabrics are the orchestra, the quilt is the music.

If it is cloth I love it. I have major STABLE syndrome and will have to live to 150 years to use it all. As blue is my favorite color I tend to purchase that when the budget allows. Absolutely love animals, foods and flowers. The Stonehenge collection by Linda Ludivico is one of my favorites with the silver metallic running through it. If you're a fan of this collection check Craftsy as they are having one whale of a sale on this fabric.
