What's your favorite all cotton piecing thread?

Aurifil, Connecting Threads, and Craftsy all make 50 wt thread. Connecting Threads is a bit more linty than the others and you have to clean the bobbin area a few more times, but I wouldn't hesitate to purchase any of these threads. Have used Gutterman for whip stitching my bindings a few times, but for anything else the small spools are expensive.

At our guild's Christmas party we were given a gift spool of Connecting Threads Essentials. I can't wait to use it up. I have to clean the lint out of my machine two or three times between bobbin changes. Who knows how much buildup of lint has occurred deeper in the machine where I can't get to it. If I'm ever given another spool of it , I'll give it away.
