Alex Alexander and Ricky Tims doing it the English way...they have a video on it, I found simple and easy regardless of the size I want to use. Its cut, fold and sew on one side. No waste. Love it. Just right for my simple mind to do.

If I'm making a small number, I like the four small squares and one large square method. If I'm making a large number where I'm using the same geese fabric and the same sky fabric for all I like to use the Easy Angle and Companion ruler method. If I'm making strips of scrappy geese I like to paper piece them. So it depends on how many, the fabrics, and also size makes a difference.

Super easy and accurate. I make them just a bit bigger and trim. No special template or ruler needed!

I couldn't care less about the waste of fabric when I can get perfect flying geese everytime when using the one seam method (Ricky Timms) or die cuts. I have tried every method known, have every speciality ruler made, for flying geese. I will try other new to me methods when I find out about them.
