    A 'squishy' is fabric sent to you in the mail.... and yes it is a new word for me too! I have learnt so much since I became a member of this board, a whole new vocabulary!Lol.

    How about that? I have tons of "squishys" Just curious: How did you come up with the name? Why don't we start a "squishy" exchange. 1 or 2- 6 inch "squishys" to an envelope would mail for one stamp in a legal sized envelope.

    A squishy is a SOFT package that comes to you in the mail. It is usually some fabric in a padded envelope. This will distingush it from a firmy which is a box with maybe a book or some other notion.

    Does anyone know if it is spicific to quilters this expression, or does it apply to any kind of fabrics sent through the post? Just curious!

    I like squishy, I have gotten some to and what a very precious gifts these are, I could not even buy from good will, because I could not afford there prices. There are some very wonderful genres people on this board. I even cryed, and I don't cry at the drop of a hat. so glad no one was home. God bless all you wonderful people. Penny
