Wheelchair quilt

I made one for my Grandmother and it dissappeared the same way at the nursing home. There is no way that I know of protecting the presonal items. They tend to grow feet and just walk away.
Someone must have needed it more than my Grandmother. I hope they are warm and dry.

Keep walking around and looking into different rooms. A lot of the "residents" will pick up whatever they like and take it back to their own "cave" and openly use it there. My DH was in a nursing home for 3 years and this happened often, easy to notice because he loved his violently colored Hawaiian shirts he bought when we vacationed there. I simply "visited" other empty rooms with an aide, and she would flip open the doors and help me take DH's shirts back. I tried to keep calm about it because it helped get a lot of assistance from the workers there.

I just started a job in a nursing home beauty shop.Try not to judge because they are really confused at this stage.I'm making a wall hanging art work, and I think I am going to hung it in the shop.If you have your art work or quilt on the wall then they could enjoy it as decoration. So sorry about the quilt and hope it shows up.

Made purple twin quilt for my aunt to use on her bed. It not last a week. why do we but names on them there still gone to be gone the next we go see the family. You know if the persons that take it would just let us know they need a quilt, I would gave them ONE.

I would keep asking!! I was in a rehab/nursing home for 8 months and there was a couple of older people that was wheelchair bound, but wheeled themselves around the hall and other rooms.
I was sitting in my room when one of these ladies who had dementia came in my room and started to take something off of my dresser, I told her to put it back but she said it was hers and off she went. i had to get the aide go get it back from her.
One day 2 ladies got in a fist fight over this. One had a black eye when the dust settled.
