Some of that stuff just isn't me.

the only way i know of to destash is to keep sewing :), making stuff with all that fabric, after all, isn't that what we buy it for?

It sounds like my stash isn't as big as I thought. I am not a scrappy person. My mind only does planned scrappy. Yellow Brick Road is a ningtmare to me. When I make a quilt I use as much of the scraps to widen the back so that I don't have to buy as much fabric. I also piece in my label. Anything left over that I really like is cut into as big squares as possible and placed in plastic bags with other same size or given to my quilt guild.

So often, a member will spot your piece and say it's just what she's been looking for. That makes you feel good.

Hi, I really like your purple quilt in your small picture. Could you please let me know what pattern this is, and where to get it? Maybe just jot ddown the names of each square and I'll take it from there. Each and everyone of you have such great ideas!!!

So hard to do! I give some to friends in the retirement center where I live. Also make the Krazy Kat balls (toys) stuffed with catnip from the Jinny Beyer book. Probably said that already. After reading your comments on how expensive fat quarters are I will probably put together some that are much more reasonable and fund my next spectacles with any profit. Will have to improve my skills then! Really enjoying your site.
