I use a very small piece of cloth which I spray with water then put it on the
seam and press the seam once. Remove the cloth and continue pressing with
a dry iron. I don't like water or steam to get all over as it can cause some
unwanted shrinkage and distort my block. My seams are as flat as they can get. :-D
