I love silence also, and windchimes and birdsongs in summer. There is something about going inside yourself when you handquilt, that definitely soothes the soul. Truthfully, that is why I do it. It sure isn't because I'm so good at beautiful stitches. HA But I keep working at it.

My thoughts go to the quilt and the next one and the one after that. It is just fun to get into the quilt 100%.

Sometime just relax me, think what my next things I'm going to make. Like letting your mind go wild seeing colors and pattern of pretty fabric that you cut out. To make something different.

I'm thinking "Oh, I'll be glad when I get this done so that I can start something new."

    please tell me.

I am learning the blanket stitch, and I think I may have found something to ease my mind....handwork.
All of the above and more. I plan future projects (those are the dreams

 , plan meals, etc. But most of all it relaxes my body and my soul.

Oh, and Darlene, I love chocolate also.

I think about past hand quilted projects, winning the lottery, my family places I'd like to visit... If I'm outside I listen to the birds and think about the stitches.
