Default When You Quilted Your French Braid, What Pattern?

I know I am getting a bit ahead of myself here, (have a little over two rows done). But I was just wondering, what design did you choose? Was it an all over the quilt pattern, or did you have something different going along the sashing? These are things I like to think about even though it could be several weeks before I am at that point.

I quilted a swirly vine pattern on one of mine and a moon/stars loopy meander on the other to go with the celestial theme of the fabric.

There are some pics/designs for inspiration on Google:

I did a meander on the diagonal pieced strips and a little loopy/leafy thing on the sashings. It turned out great.

I stitched in the ditch, then went down the middle of each strip with a machine embroidery stitch. I chose a floral pattern.

I'm sorry Katier825, but I cannot get it to work. Did you take any close up pictures of them?

I did a zig zags beside the center squares, about 1/2 inch apart. I had sashing between the vertical rows and did 1/4" inside the strips. I only had a walking foot at the time.
