When you sew do you sew barefoot, socks on or shoes?

Well if it isn't then one of the news stations got it wrong. Years ago one of their anchors did a story and a shot was taken of her driving barefoot. Many viewers questioned her practice of driving without shoes so they checked with the police and the law in Oregon says it is a violation to drive without shoes on your feet. I remember this because I used to always drive barefoot.
I must say I do have a tendancy to get around that by wearing flip flops while driving in the summer.
You need to know to this is Oregon, in this state everything can be considered a violation. I'm waiting for the day they say inhaling to deeply is a violation. LOL

Absolutely barefoot! I can control my machine speed better and have better contact with the foot pedal.
I have a teenage boy sewing student who was appalled when I asked him to try sewing barefoot (much to his horror, this meant taking off his fancy sneakers). Now he says he can't sew any other way.
