Same for me...if my feet are really cold in the winter, I do sew with slippers, but they have to be a soft slipper, not a harder sole.Especially for quilting, need to have the control you can only get with a bare foot or socked foot.

I sew barefoot in the summer
Fuzzy warm socks in the winter
definitely NO SHOES anytime.

My sewing room is in the basement, the floors are too cold all year to go barefoot..... and I am kinda slippy about what I drop on the floor. So shoes are a must for me.

my feet are getting old and like to have some cushioning, so I'm in slippers when sewing. Use to go barefooted all the time but age caught up with my feet.
