I feel so badly for my family in upstate NY as well as all of you who have endured this hard winter. I would have hunkered down in my sewing room if we were home, but hubby loves coming to FL for two months. It has been cold for FL, but can't complain. This week has been beautiful as you and folks at home are getting ready for another one.

I usually pop in for a few minutes. I'm fairly new to this forum. In fact I did not upload a photo yet. But I have been enjoying all the posts and seeing the creative talent of all you quilters. It is inspiring!
I am currently planning my next quilt for my 4th son who relocated to Anchorage in Jan. He has requested a Mariners Star design in sky,sea and foresty fabric. Not sure if he wants a block of stars or 1 big one ...similar to the Judith Neiymeyer paper pieced quilt. I saw it on-line for $35 but I'm hesitant to order it.
Thanks to all of you for sharing your projects!

I think we all need to yell at one time: " 1-2-3 hurry up Spring!" Maybe if all the quilters yell it will help. I am also so ready. We just got another 14 inces of snow Sun & Mon. Mother Nature keeps reminding us she is in charge.

It's snowing here in Southern Oregon, too. My daffodils, iris, and rhubarb have been up since January. I thought I escaped all that when I moved from Illinois! I guess we'll have weather no matter where we are!
