Karen, I was so impressed with your Mardi Gras runner that I had to do one for myself. Thanks for the motivation!
I have never been to Mardi Gras but love the bright colors. I have had this fabric for years and didnt know what to do with it until I saw yours.

I'm still here, but not near as much. Getting ready to move back to Louisiana in a few days, so not much time to spare! I'll be back tho!

It's been snowing here since noon. We probably have 4 or 5 inches now. My husband said it was o.k. He was getting tired of all the brown. Time to cover it all up. I've been hand quilting a queen size quilt. Looks like I may have a couple of months left to go on it.

Hey Grugirl, I feel like I live on here but try not to talk as often as I'd like.
My kids in Kitsap County got 4" of snow last night which is a lot for that area. My DIL had a social services call in Graham this morn. but didn't risk the drive. Just yell this way when you're feeling lonely. I could have gotten a lot of sewing done today but here I sat.
I have a new wallhanging pattern & some batiks that I'm dying to start since it's going to be a challenge but again, here I sat.
