I thought it would be lovely if we all knew where in the British Isles we are all from and then if we are near each other we could maybe meet up somtime if anyone is interested.

I'm in Essex. There is a quilting guild locally that has about 75 members and meets monthly. None of my friends are either sewers or quilters tho.

We have a place in Essex, but we are rarely there. Hubby is from Loughton Essex, we now live in the states. We (he) still has the house in Essex. He goes back 3-4 X per year, I go every few years.

My next trip back I'll try to find some of you! No idea when that is going to be.

I meet up with some quilting friends on a Friday night but it would be lovely to meet other's from around my area.
