Has anyone ever looked at Overstock.com? They have batting, fusibles, interfacings, etc., by the yard, and you really can't beat their shipping. May also be tax-free, depending on which state you live in. I have bought other items from them in the past and have been very pleased with all of my purchases.

I order it on-line from JoAnns when they have it 50% off and have it delivered to my door.
Years ago when I would try to buy a whole bolt at my local JoAnns, they would not have one available. So, now I have them ship it to me. Occasionally they will also have free shipping.

I buy it online by the 40-yard roll at JoAnn's when they have a 50% off sale. Shipping is only about $16 for a huge roll like that. I think the last time I bought a 40-yard roll the reg price was about $350, so with the 50% off it ended up at about $175 + the shipping of about $16.

I also live 30 miles from Hancock's and Joannes but I am a google girl - type in best price (and the batting you are looking for) today I purchased 10 yards of the batting I love for purses(I am really into making purses and totes right now) and Overstock.com had great price, no s/h - what a savings!!
May have a hard time explaining to DH that I needed 10 yards, you think?

I buy mine at JoAnn's when I have a 50% coupon. I get 5 to 10 yds at a time. I get either the warma nd white or warm and natural. Great deal!

Are there certain times of the year when Joanns has it on sale or is it just kind of a hit and miss thing?
