Does anyone know of a good (read inexpensive) source to buy flannel by the bolt? I make receiving blankets for a local hosiptal in need and would love to make more if I didn't have to spend so much on the fabric.

    Thanks.

I found some for $2.85/yard (by the bolt) here:

    http://fabric4less.com/index.php?mai...eyword=flannel

or try Quiltshops.com and type in "flannel sale". It came up with 45 pages.

I buy it at Joann's when it is for sale at $2.50 a yard, and concider myself lucky if I have a 10/20% off coupon to use with my purchase.

That's what I've been doing, but thought I'd look for other options but after searching around - I think this is the best deal. Thanks everyone for your input. Much appreciated.
