Where's a good place to buy supplies at wholesale price if possible? Things like extra M size bobbins and needles for my longarm machine and batting (preferably 100% cotton) on a roll? I have been looking on-line and can't seem to find a 'good' place. I'm okay for thread......have been using mainly Superior threads and they offer some great deals for businesses at whole price, like monthly clubs.

This guy has some good wholesale stuff: http://jhittlesewing.funoverload.com...ls/page_1.html

Not sure if he has what you need, but he's quick and reliable.

Check Quilter's Dream for batting - their stuff in WONDERFUL! Superior also has the needles that you need.

I checked this out, but seems to be more towards domestic type machines and didn't have the needles or the bobbins I was looking for.

But they sure have some great stuff for sewing in general. I could be in trouble if I stayed on this website for very long. There are some things I have been wanting for a while....

You could open an account with one of the major distributors like Checkers. Only problem is having to have a minimum order which I found out today has gone up to $150. Trick is to find a place that has most of everything you would need, i.e. batting, needles, thread, bobbins, etc.

If you don't get many responses, try e-mailing the Hittle guy. He may be able to hook you up. I think he's been around for a while. Perhaps he has some contacts for wholesale longarm supplies. You might try contacting our longarmers on the board too. I'm sure they'd love to share their vendor info.

Are you ready? Here are a few of the sites I have collected over my 2 years or so looking for a mid arm machine. I'm not sure what each of these companies sells or if they sell wholesale. They are just some sites I have collected that interested me.

With a tax id number you are able to set up accounts with companies such as Hobbs, Checkers...
I have purchased batting directly from Hobbs, and have other long armers in the area that help me purchase in bulk.
We are going to Quilt Works in Mnpls tomorrow to pick up batting, thread and supplies. Again a tax Id number is needed to pick these up at cost.
