Great topic! I paper piece. What ever you decide will work best for you, I would get something that you can run through your printer be it inkjet or laser printer.
I just ran off six copies of 2.5" pineapple blocks with 33 pieces each. I would hate to have to trace that for each block. :-D :-D

I use "Kabnet Wax" made by Dixie, it is unwaxed deli paper. It sews well and goes through the printer. I bought mine at BJ's I'm sure they would have it at Sams club and/or Costco also. It comes in a package of 2 boxes and each box has 500 sheets in it. total you get 1,000 papers for about $12.00 The papers are 12"X10 3/4". Although I got mine about 2 years ago , they should still have it. Great stuff!

I went to a medical supply store a few years ago and bought a roll of exam table paper like they use in Dr's offices for about $3. I saw the hint on "Simply Quilts". Best thing I ever did. It's great for PP. And it lasts for years! I'm sure it's more expensive now, but certainly not what you will pat in the other stores mentioned here.
