Dick Blick also has vellum and tracing papers at good prices. http://www.dickblick.com/tracing/papers/details/ They are also a great source for almost anything to do with fiber art...paints, dyes, markers, pens, tools, you name it. I recently ordered something that was not up to standard when I received it. After letting them know, they gave me full credit and said to keep the item anyway.
    I Dick Blick! ;)

I go to the grocery and buy parchment paper for baking. (Same isle as the tin foil and plastic wrap) Works great!

Carol Doak's is 10 cents a sheet and OD is about a penny a sheet.....

I've never seen any vellum for that low.
What size do you order, do you have to cut it down?

I got some free end rolls of blank newsprint at my local newspaper about 10 years ago.. They sold it by the pound but when I said I needed it for my students to draw on they just gave it to me free.. Don't really know how much it cost but you can call and check out your local newspaper.. I also keep the paper they use to wrap breakable things in when you purchase them and iron them to get out wrinkles... I think I'm going to try the old phone books and see how that works for me... Thanks everyone for all the good advice I learn from here, but not for all of my precious time I'm on this site and need to be quilting...LOL ;>)

I just bought Vellum for my inkjet printer at Staples. Be sure to ask a salesperson to guide you because I almost bought the wrong one - it's got to say compatible for inkjets (It was located over by the printers). I paid 11.99 for 50 sheets.

I got a roll of it at the quilt store (they were out and had to order it for me). Not sure how long it was, probably about 12 inches high, but it was pricy.
