In 1994 I purchased a beautiful quilt hanger from a company named Display Away. The hanger is beautiful solid wood and holds quilts without causing marks. I found the site on the internet and in 1995 met a gentleman at the Chicago International Quilt Festival who had a booth and was selling them. Well, I've finally completed the perfect wall quilt and want to purchase another Display away quilt hanger. Does anyone know if this company is still in business or have they possibly changed their name. Thanks, Kathy

There are a number of sites I have come across online with these type of hangars. You may try to google quilt hangars and maybe you can find someone fairly local :D:D:D

Yes, I've googled Display Away a number of times and there was nothing listed. I've seen so many beautiful quilt hangers out there, but this one is designed to hold the quilt in a very unique way. Well, I'll keep an eye out and if I find it, I'll let you all know. Thanks for the response. Kathy

I found display away, and they deal with watches.

I purchased a DisplayAway quilt hanger and located the paperwork from that order (2007 price list is noted) and the website was www.displayaway.com which now brings up watches so that obviously is not it. I did note further in the paperwork that it listed an email address of [email protected] and a phone # of 1-888-487-7233. I also note that you could submit an order form to: Zellerwood Originals, P O Box 54289, Cincinnati, Ohio 45254. I did a search on Zellerwood Originals in Cincinnati, Ohio and this phone number (513-752-3763) came up. You might call to this if this is DisplayAway or perhaps they could give you some information.

Hi Bessie, thanks for the reply. I have tried both of the phone numbers, and a couple of email addresses I found on google. No luck what so ever. I called directory assistance and they said the 513 number was not a valid number and the Cincinattii address was not listed. I have no idea how a company with such beautiful products disappers. Again, I appreciate the responses.

    Happy,

Did you check out this quilt hanger? I don't know what the display away looked like but this one here looks pretty nice. Anyway, I hope you find something that works. Good luck!

Zellerwood Originals of Cincinnati, Ohio developed a wood unit for displaying quilts called DisplayAway.
