What a great idea Watson!
What a beauty!
It was suggested to me to buy a clear plastic tablecloth from the dollar store and wipe away markers and use those to put over my quilt so I could audition some designs. Thought that was a good idea.
While you"re waiting for inspiration, perhaps stitch in the ditch around all the sashing. By the time you"ve got that completed, I'm sure many more people will have chimed in as well.

I love that quilt. I would stitch in the ditch around the sashing to provide good stabilization. In the non butterfly squares I would alternate several different flower motifs. This would provide a curvy quilt pattern to a geometric quilt which adds interest. The flower squares are bite sized so every mistake won't be magnified. I quilted my sisters around the world quilt and did something similar. It was doable and not that hard. Practicing beforehand was very helpful.
if you wanted to echo inside or outside the butterfly.
Gorgeous quilt.
