I need some alternative options. Other than this board where would you advertise quilting related items such as sewing machines for sale? Thanks, Ann in TN

Most people use Craigs list. However I have never had much luck there. I sold mine to the local repair shop.

There are at least 2 yahoo groups for selling quilting & sewing related stuff that I am a member of. It's a good way to pickup books. Go to yahoo and search for them. I don't think we're allowed to post direct links to yahoo groups. I know one is called Sew its for sale, another is DJ Quilts Rummage sale or something like that. This board also has a classified section for members. Read the rules before posting on it, though.

Are you on Yahoo!? There are several sewing selling sites there. The most popular is 'SewItsForSale'. Just do the search after you get on Yahoo groups. I'd post the link here, but this site doesn't allow the yahoo links. If you can't find it PM me your regular e-mail and I'll send it that way.

I now see that another had the same idea!
