I ordered some from Keepsake Quilting and theyr'e very nice fabric. They have lots of different colors and prints, too. I can't remember the price but I think around $9.00/yard but their quality is great.

    Kim,
One of the best places I have found for fatbacks is http://www.christianlanequilters.com/home.html
They usually have a great selection and the quality is wonderful!

Ok ,this is what i have..
    it measures 68 x 72. I need to add,16" both ways, (to send it to a quilter).Correct?

I wanted to have a music themed quilt job done on it..clefts,notes..etc..do you think the quilt is to busy for that type of pattern?

I think the top is beautiful! And no I do not think it is too busy for that kind of design at all!
    Great job

Kim - I have also found some good buys on Ebay. Other than that, I have bought at the LQS.

The link I showed you is pretty close to actual color I have found-I do not guarantee that obviously but I have been happy with what I have purchased matching what I bought it for.

LMBO! Piedmont, I was with you on that one! My mama is a good southern lady. All her cooking seems to start with "fry up a little fatback to season your pan".

Are you adding 16" of border?? When I take mine to the quilter I make sure my back is 4-6" larger and it's never been a problem.
