where do you get your inspiration?

I get a lot of ideas from the sources previously mentioned, plus I like to check out books from my library about antique quilts - some things there that you will never see online, and truly "out of the box" thinking. I checked out one yesterday called Treasury of American Quilts by Cyril I Nelson and Carter Houck, that is just amazing. And you will see that nothing is new, too. Some of the quilts from centuries ago look very modern - not at all like I think of "traditional" quilts looking.

And you have my home phone number and I can inspire you, but I love this board too.

Usually looking through quilt pictures -- on here, on Flicker, on thequiltshow.com, on quilterscache.com, etc.
And I have a few friends from scrapbooking forums like this who also quilt....one is a HUGE inspiration to me.
I want to find a guild, but haven't found one that works schedule wise for me.
